1. The Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan’s (BVCP) four-body review process requires City Council, County Commissioners, City Planning Board and County Planning Commissioners to review and approve shifts of properties from County jurisdiction to City jurisdiction, as defined by the BVCP. In the recent BCVP 2015 update, the four-body review process was significantly changed. Do you agree with the changes? Why or why not?

I want Council to actively explore options to address the shortage in market-rate middle income housing so that more young professionals and families can afford to live here, which in turn creates a virtuous cycle that creates stronger and more sustained benefit for our neighborhood businesses.

I want Boulder to create more mixed-use neighborhoods that offer convenient and affordable access to restaurants and bars, transportation, shopping, and other amenities. As a resident in the Uptown Broadway neighborhood, I believe these 15-minute-type neighborhoods offer viable solutions to Boulder’s specific needs around housing, reducing traffic congestion, and building community.
